Over past three decades, Rajiv headed finance, strategy, and operations of public, PE-owned, and entrepreneurial companies such as Cosette Pharmaceuticals, Actylis (previously, Aceto Chemicals / Rising Pharma), RK Pharma, and Citron Pharma. These are global companies with a presence in the US, Europe, and India. As a C-suite executive, he took an active role alongside financial sponsors and Boards of Directors in developing inorganic growth strategies. He led multiple M&A processes and subsequent integrations, achieving accretive outcomes. Rajiv streamlined finance and operation functions of acquired companies and spearheaded the execution of carveouts to establish successful standalone platforms. He managed difficult integrations, addressing complex revenue recognition issues including pharma gross-to-net accounting, oversaw global supply chains, and directed multiple ERP rollouts.

Rajiv believes in building a data-driven and process-oriented culture. He has a consistent track record of developing and mentoring strong, highly motivated teams. Rajiv also has extensive experience in working with private equity firms, investment banks, direct lenders, and BIG-4 firms (as independent auditors and advisors). He is adept at navigating complex tax issues, including those related to transaction structures and other tax-minimizing strategies such as R&D credits and cost segregation.
